Furnished!

Yesterday we equipped my apartment with a bed, a desk, two cupboards, a shelf and my beloved hi-fi system! I still need another shelf, though - I put my books on the window sill for now. The room is a real mess now. There is plastic foil, cardboard boxes and paper everywhere. So actually it is an advantage that I have not been able to post any pictures yet...

My two older brothers want to put a computer together for me - it is these moments when I realize how lucky I am having them! My oldest brother, who lives in Lübeck, already arranged the transport of my stuff from Berlin to Trier two weeks ago - you should have seen his car (it is only an Opel Corsa), packed from top to bottom - cupboard, desk, bed and bicycle included!! It was really marvellous.

I have not always felt lucky being the only girl out of four children. My older brothers - especially the oldest one - used to be very nasty and they liked to pick on me when we were small. I guess I could be quite annoying, too - I had a fairly loud voice...

I understand it does become a bit boring without any photos... I will get back to you soon and hopefully have a few pictures to entertain you with... :)
