My mood is a bit better today and I am getting used to the thought that I might manage Japanese through continuous work and some self-confidence... I am now capable of some basic sentences like "I am Johanna" or "Is this a pencil?" - and actually it is a lot of fun! The writing exercises are just like back in primary school when you had to draw one letter again and again in a line... The only difference is that you now learn 20 new signs a day plus some grammar. But it is fun - it would not be the right subject if I did not like it! So in the future please ignore all that whining about how difficult it is, that would be great...
